Some of the highlights from this week's episode on ADHD:

What is ADHD?

In this weeks episode Dr.Jeff talks Taylor through all aspects of Attention Defecit Hyperactive Disorder

The Reputation of ADHD

Taylor discusses how ADHD can have a bit of a bad reputation and how Kids and even Adults can be labelled as ‘Naughty’ or ‘Bad”, ‘the mentality is slowly changing and by giving people the tools and education behind the disorder is really breaking down that stigma’

Is there a cure?

Like many of the conversations had on the Podcast surrounding different Mental Challenges I’m always really intrigued to find out what can be done to help people who may be facing them. ADHD is one topic that intrigues me the most, there are so many levels of it and it affects people in so many different ways. I think it’s remarkable that although there may not be a cure it can still be used as a kind of Super Power.

Ive been lucky enough to have conversations with Adults who have been diagnosed quite late and how they have embraced it.

Throughout this episode Dr Jeff gives a really good insight into the disorder and offers some advice and even a success story following the correct treatment.

One thing I want to finish this post with is that although the affects can be devastating, with the right treatment and education we can really work towards the mindset of not allowing mental challenges to define who we are! You are capable of so much more!
